# Steps after purchasing a SecureMailMerge license

> What to do after buying a SecureMailMerge license: check the footer is gone from your own emails, or assign licenses to your team on the licensing server.

You have successfully purchased a license for SecureMailMerge.

**If you bought a single license for yourself,** it has already been assigned to the email address you logged in with. Return to the add-in: either restart it or send yourself a test message. The license warning will disappear and your emails go out without the promotional footer. Your subscription renews automatically until you [cancel it](https://www.securemailmerge.com/help/cancel/).

**If you bought licenses for your team,** you can return to the licensing server (licensing.solinventum.com) to assign a license to each sending email address. Licenses can be reassigned within your subscription at any time.
